you know how in tv shows and movies there is a scene like when the character is pleasantly suprised to find something on the table waiting for them find. you know? well today was pretty uneventful and so i go out to the kitchen to prepare my dinner and sitting on the table is a cupcake it had happy birthday ribbon and such. it kinda made me well up inside. i dont know why. it was from my landlady and it was just such a nice gesture it caught me off guard. she also gave me a sweatshirt. pretty much my family called and then i got some cool ims. charisse awesome as always thanks so much. and then to joel and loanly. its been pretty quiet. i basically made study sheets for the two test this week. also on tuesday i start my training. so ill have my show hopefully sometime after easter. i cant wait for this week to end i get to home on friday.

i remembered something funny from yesterday. in the break between the raveonettes and mooney suzuki, they people from the radio station came up and they were like yeah if you can name the title of the new dj krush cd you can get the signed vynil. the crowd was like what the fuck?! seriously they were asking the wrong crowd to name a dj krush album. nobody answered and they gave her a hard time for it. also the song of the day was fuck the police. we were singing it all day and then at the end of the show we wanted a encore but they said the police said no.

holy shit! ok great day to start. history was ok. and then i get a good nap at the student union then i go home and rest. at around three i hang out with annisa at school. we were looking for people in our university 100 class but we failed b/c the school was empty. like really...empty. so wer walk around. so there is this crack that most of us all fight to walk through, well we faught with the mooney suzuki! yes it was great and fun. but i didnt ask them for a picture. dammit! oh well. then i see longwave and then we take a piture with them. they were really nice. then while light motorcade come on. they were good, not great but ok. then the raveonettes. they were awesome. i loved her skirt. they were so good. then the mooney suzuki. oh my goodness. what can i say. they were awesome. so good. so so good. everything i imagined it to be and better. so much goodness. it was just so great. i was singing and dancing and clapping. there was an energy. they have a personality like the hives. i cant say it enough it was great. they guys next to me were cool too. i got tons of pictures and ill have those up soon. and i got lots of free stuff and a shirt. i forgot to go to the bank so i only had $15 dollars. sucked b/c i wanted a longwave cd. oh well. i have to go to the bank tomorrow get some $$. im a poor kid.
it was cool b/c all the djs had backstage passes. but all failed to utilize the brnifits. like me i would have gone for the free food. good free food. special thanks to anissa for coming with me and dana for driving me home. good times.

i am very excited the mooney suzuki and the ravenettes are coming tomorrow. i got my ticket and everything. the crappy part is that im going to be going alone and taking the bus back home like at 10 i dont think the show will be over by then but yeah. its going to suck. especially the part about going home alone on the bus. i started the first part of my training at the station. basically reading the book and such. next week i start doing stuff. there are a lot of rules and such and then the fcc and then cjm.a lot to keep in mind. i have one listerner. he was cool and said he would listen to my show. i thought that was nice of him. i think elimidate is on...

sunday i went to church and got a ride back to the lbc with carl. (thanks again) it was hot there and it was a gross hot too. i dont like it. it was hot inside the house and especially in my room. i wasnt really planning on doing anything on monday but then anissa invited me to go to the beach. who would pass up an opportunity to go to the beach especially huntington beach? not me thats for sure. it was fun. thanks to wendy, veronica, annisa, and dana. i had fun and sorry if i misspelled any of your names.i didnt go in the ocean b/c i didnt have my suit. i mean i did but its for the pool not the ocean. so i used the bottom and wore a tank. i probably looked stupid but hey. we built a sand castle and planned to invade every other castle and then tax them but that didnt happen. it was a really nice day. every time i go to huntington i want to stay and live there. i love it there. so its huntington beach, costa mesa, san clemente or carlsbad are the places i want to live. it all depends on what happens.
today was cool. i got my ticket to the advanced warning tour. it was free its just that i have to get a ticket. then i got some free cds. and a longwave poster. i met the guy at the radio station and start my training on thursday. im excited. i have a bunch of tests and reading to do. err... and i got most of my registration holds lifted. im planning on taking some summer classes in ventura. mainly math and english. i hate thinking about registration i get anxiety attacks. i dont know why. i dont know what im scared of i hate thinking about it so ill stop there.
it was april fools day its probably the only day i dont say the words april fools. i think this year is probably going to be a crappy bday. i dont get pansit, or a carvel ice cream fashioned in the shape of a cake and im alone. i guess thats the crappy part. i hate being alone some times i dont know what ill do. maybe ill stick a candle in one of the cookies and milky way and then blow it out. i hate growing up.

my parents came to pick me up at around 11ish. it was nice going home. i havent been home since january, so it was fun. i went grocery shopping with my mom. that was a fun. i got so much food i dont think ill go hungry for like two months. i also tried the cookies and milky way bars, they are the greatest. i dont have to go to the store for a while. out with charice to jesses house, lisa, paul, and linda eventually came over. it was fun watching tv and eating. then we went to the park and swung on the swings. i lost my hankerchief. it was fun. today i went to the mall. i got some new shoes and flip flops. they are the most comfortable flip flops i have ever worn. the cheap ones were comfortable too. thats really rare. they are etnies sandals at white sands. the $9.99 were nice but there were none in my size so my sister got me the nice ones. it was my bday gift. i got the rowley xlt from the vans store. usually shoes stick out and yell at me "buy me you idiot" but today it was like blah. nothing special. i really wanted the bam v2 or the sumner but i cold not find them.
the mall is a strange place. since when did rockabilly guys start working at gnc? it was the strangest sight. i saw the diary of tony hawk and and my sister bought oceans 11.
my brother got this pamphlet from the church about dating, its pretty funny. there are pictures of the male and female signs and they are "dating." the phamplet says: "respect you dadt as a person- not something for you satisfaction. no passionate petting no genital sext activites these belong in the marriage. date for mental, emotional and spirtual companitonship then in marriage your genital sharing will reflect these." umm...."genital sharing"? thats new. i never heard sex called that. it actually paints a very visual picture that is not nice. in the donts it says no pick ups, parking, pot, pills, petting, porn-in any form, prolonged privacy, and places that invite trouble. what i say to that it that i dont know trouble weve never met so im not worrying.

so im listening to the mt high comercials on the radio, and the funny announcer guy was like "why, b/c were magic!" i was laughing. they use the word magic too thats great. seriously magic is the answers for all answers. i love that commercial. ahh they are funny. anyways. i love peanut butter jelly sandwiches. they are just so good and i forgot how good they are. everytime i make them i sing the peanut butter jelly song. as you can see i have nothing to do. tha reminds me im running out of jelly. my roommate is the best. she was cooking food and she gave me a slice of some of the best cheese, a fourth of an avacado and a tortilla. it was so good. i dont know what kind of cheese it is but it is damn good. i remember having some back in home econmics and i remember liking it then. it was a weird combination but a good one.

i hate studying. it takes up too much time.i wish i had the power of osmosis then i could rest on the book and then magically it soakes into my brain. my weekend was pretty much the same. i did laundry and then got a bunch of starbursts. they were three for a dollar so how could you pass an opportunity up like that. then on sunday we did comparative shopping at ralphs. i got a dollar off coupon for soylatte so that means its only going to be 99 cents! what a deal. the week so far is just eh. the weather is soo soo nice. sunny nice breeze and warm. i love it. so nice. im thinking about going down to the lagoon and feed the swans and ducks some stale crackers.
its kindacool b/c we have a three day weekend for cesar chavez day but like half of the people that go to long beach have no idea who he is. is it even a holiday in oxnard? i have to look in to that.

kinda i slept for like an hour in the usu before i left for home. i had some cornbeef and cabbage for lunch. i went on the computer for a while and then skated to the bank to get rent money. then i went to albersons to do some comparative shopping. i love albersons but its kinda far but they have better deals ralphs is too expensive even with the double coupons. i got two frozen juices other than orange and apple for 99 cent. thats a freaking bargan. also i found out that tofu steak is like $1.39 so when i run out of meat im getting tofu steak. its cheaper than the real meat and t comes in various marinates. i still have lots of food from when my mom came so im good. i figure it will last me another week i also have veggies that i got last week. when i paid my rent my land lady was feeling real good b/c she took me out to dinner. we ate at huffs. its like a small diner that was actually built in the 50s. one of the waitresses had a a psudo beehive. it was great b/c i think thats how she styles her hair everyday. they had the greatest clam chowder. im used to canned clam chowder so this one was really good. and i got a garlic toast and my fish and chips and some veggies. it was soo good. i had two peices of fish and i could not eat the last one. i have lots of chips left and my garlic toast. i guess ill eat it when i get up tomorrow. i have to do laundry and im going to try to do it earlier than i usually do so i could go to the towne center. i need some stuff from old navy and i just want to go and look around. maybe ill go to the skate shop on the corner of carson. i dont know. i have to eventually study for my test but thats not till wednesday. so i guess ill start studying on sunday. im trying to decide if i should start training on monday or start on friday. hmmm....
yesterday was the major fair and i decided im going to double major int fashion merchandising and textiles and clothing. im actually excited b/c im taking a fundamental to apparel production and i get to learn how to sew and possibly, im hoping knit. im so excited. yeah double majoring. im really excited about this.

there was nothing on again today. the ncaa thing was supposed to be on but no it was dan rather repeating the same info about the war. for like three hours, the same news was repeated there was no real reason to be on tv. they were running out of things to talk about. they would alos discribe everything too. like that buliding is on fire. its flaming and its burning. back to you dan. one report kinda got me. the story was on the protest in san fransico and how in california the antiwar sentiment is higher in numbers compared to those in other states. thats were the story was supposed to end then dan rather says something like well in nyc they are almost all in support of war. then the guy in san fransico say well b/c they havent really experienced a terrorist attack. then dan rather goes "thanks," or something and cuts him off. it was weird b/c when i saw that it was like dan rather made him say that last statement to make his point. it was weird it was very unsettling. i guess you had to see it to understand. i just slept most of the time. i guess everyone thinks im so alcoholic b/c my jones soda bottles remind people of some drink. i forgot waht but yeah. especially b/c the cream soda is clear. ah oh well if thats what they think then so be it. next week hopefully ill have green soda and prove them all wrong.
there was a walkout today. a really good turnout but it not in my nature to not go to class so i went. i felt bad but i had to. they came marching by our class and screaming in out door during lecture. it was great.

im guessing this means a lot more people are going to hate us.dammit. anyways today was a really really nice day. it was not a day to be caught inside. i must say i got a really nice tan today. there was a "pool party" today at school and there was free food. cant pass that up. three bands played and they were suprisingly good. my favorite band, unjust cause, and daijobu. the lead guy from my favorite band is in my communications lecture. the lead singer of unjust cause reminded me of the jordan from nfg just shorter, blonde and a better singer. i got the drumsticks from them. they are still in good condition too. he threw them in the pool and when they floated in my direction i got them. nobody got them so i waited. he totally looked like travis barker talked like him too also his sticks were travis barker sticks. the drummer from daijobu looked like tommy lee. so i say tommy lee and travis barker today. i met some cool guys. i didnt get their names but they were pretty cool they let me sit at their table b/c i was all alone. i was pretty much in the sun that whole time. so i got pretty toasted. it was actually fun. it was nice of asi to get garden burgers. nobody ate them really everyone ate the meat ones. i had a garden burger b/c you cant rally get e coli from an undercooked garden burger. it was good. and they gave us free soda and chips. its nice to know where tution is going. that was kinda fun.i got a bunch of demos and flyers. it was just an overall nice day, weatherwise.
i was so looking forward to watching the very first dawsons creek episode but no they had to start bombing baghdad. hey thats a song!
anyway nothing was no today so i just went to the computer. i have a presentation tomorrow. im kinda nervous b/c we are playing by ear and we dont have a script and we didnt formally reherse. so im kinda scared. i hopefully start training this friday..i hope so i can have my show on soon. im thinking about calling mixtape revolution. i dont really know yet.

soon i will be hosting my own internet radio show. its pretty cool b/c its the schools student radio station and it plays over the usu. im really nervous and excited. i start training soon. theres a show at the pool tomorrow so il be there till 2pm. it sounds good three bands and free food. cant beat free food. i have a test in math and go to history tomorrow. ever since i got a c on the paper i dont want to go to that class. it was like sophomore year english when i would do horrilbly on those essys. err.. im going to tel him that i didnt think i deserve a c b/c i feel that i didnt mix up my geography as much as you said i did that i would deserve a c. i stayed on topic and made my point clear and as concise as i could. that is why i want two points. errr....last night i stayed up late to see flogging molly on jimmy kimmel live. it was good. i really dont like how they cut the end b/c they played another song. it looks fun every time they have cool bands come on. its not like the other late night shows at all. the advanced warning show is coming to the beach in april so thats going to be cool. get to see the mooney suzuki for free. lots of things to do this week and lots of emotions ive been having. some good some bad and its only tuesday!

kinda bummed i got a c on a paper for us history. what i dont understand is that i he said i was on topic and nailed the key inof and i used quotes approiately yet but i did get my regions confused and i overstate so he says so i get a c i think i deserve a low b. i dont understand. he says that if there are problems then write them down. but i cant really read the comments on my paper. so that kinda doesnt help. ah kinda bummed. i dont like being bummed but its just been like that for a while so yeah im used to it. i cant have too many bummed out days its not healthy.
yesterday was cool i had corn beef and cabbage for the first time. its really good. its like my moms boiled meat back home so it feels good when i eat it. i had some today. then i went grocery shopping. i skated there and i got some veggies and jones soda. yum. i even got one with bam margera on the bottle. saturday it rained all day so naturally i didnt do anything. i was on the computer and then i tried to do homework i did some but not all. it turns out that its due on wednesday and my test for history is monday. good times. i should go study of anthro i have a test tomorrow.

it been a good week. the weather was nice. cloudy mornings to sunny afternoons. its nice. lots of things got pushed back like my test in anthro, my hw and test in history. i getting pretty comfortable in long beach. i told my soap eating story. thats a good sign. then i made refrence to the giligans island you know the episode they ate soap and someone actually knew what i was talking about.
i was like cool. it was free food day at mcdonalds. kroq was there giving out stuff. it was so funny when simple plan came on all the girls started singing along. it was so funny. so horrible. i was like oh hell. they also made me sick a kroq sticker on my deck. i was very heisitant but when you have a crowd of people and a guy on a mic telling you to put on a sticker and if you didnt he would chase you down with the truck you kinda have to. it was pretty funny. the sticker came off and it now resides on my computer. then i went around the area then went home. i had a lot on my mind. i found out my dad is leaving in april for afganistan hell be there for four months. thats soo long. i wont be able to see my family for four months. when my sister imed me today she was like did you hear about dad? im like what? i had a million thoughts, like why didnt anyone tell me anything. at first i thought he was sick or something i was so worried. then she told me hes leaving. in a way i was relieved but then i was still upset b/c hes leaving. its like the navy all over again. not like i dont see my dad everyday b/c i dont even if i was home. so i left and skated. skating always clears my mind. time like this i wish i was swimming or surfing. they always help clear my mind.

i haevtn written in here in a while. whats been going on? well nothing. i go to school. you know how i was supposed to have a test on tuesday, well its postponed. i was ready for a test too. oh well its next week so ill study then. i have some homework due too. its pretty much the same stuff. im thinking about becoming a dj for the schools internet radio. its seems cool b/c it plays in the usu pa system. i dont know. im bored. i have to go and see if i could beg for a job at some skate shop. thats my ideal job at the current moment. nothing special.

i wake up like at 12ish my mom calles to make sure im ok and theni go to the laundry mat. no big wash my clothes and then go to the wherehouse with a laundry bag. whatever. i study some make quick notes for my test on tuesday. it was a really nice day weatherwise. so i wore a skirt. it was too nice to be wearing pants. today was even nicer. i went to the bus and got off b/c i realized the bus was going the opposite direction of tower records. so i end up walking an hour and a half on PCH. good times. i looked at the sign and it was at PCH 3000 tower is on PCH 6000. yup thats a long walk. by the time i got there it was 3 and i found a shorter way home that was a thirty minute walk. not too bad. when i got home my dogs were killing. its funny b/c i bought the count the stars cd and the new movielife but i was only charged for the count the stars. i didnt realize this till i walked out but i kinda feel bad b/c the girl gave me a free finch shirt. ah i dont know its going to bite me in the ass. if you see a thing in dateline about nonhonest citizens its me.
so that was my adventures in long beach. there were many times i could have taken the bus but i didnt i walked i also could have given up many times but i didnt. that was my excercise for the week. i feel really refreshed. its funny b/c as soon as i saw the tower store it was like mirage. times like this i wish i had a car.

i had an essay due today so i worked roughly 4 hours writing an concluding paragraph and an intro. stupid solitaire. i can get mean streaks. ah i go to sleep late and wake up early. i was palnning on going to bed early but jason schwartzman was on conan talking baout his new movie spun. i hear its fucked up and stuff so it seems like a good movie. i shuld get more sleep b/c im sick and my head is heavy all the time but i dont. i sleep and nap random parts of the day. like i nap during my break in the usu. like today i didnt want to go to the house so i slept in the usu and then i went to find alexis but i didnt see her so i went home. i found a way to stay awake in my anthro class. i eat. thursday im bringing cheeze its. tuesday i have a test so i have to make a study sheet. hopefully ill catch upon my sleep so i wont be too lazy. i have to do laundry tomorrow too. i went to one of the various wherehouses in the area that are closing down. there was nothing really good left. tomorrow i check out the other one by the laundry mat. there are so many in long beach. ill have a bag full of clothes but whatever! then catch up on some reading. my sister is the best. for my bday she bought me a ticket to see the faint at the glasshouse. i havent even thought of my bday so that was way cool of her to do that. i took some pictures around the city ill eventually put them on the computer.

i was not feel ing to well today. as soon as i got home i got n the comp printed out my homework then took a nap. a nice hour long nap. when i woke up i went to get a drink and i see my landlady cooking. it turns out that the neighbor on the corner died. he was young too he was in his 40s. my landlad made a bunch of food for them. thats really nice of her to do. i had some of the pasta with ranch dressing and sour cream and veggies. it was really good. anytime i dont have to cook dinner is a good thing in my book. the downside was that was at 6ish and now im kinda hungry. the meal wasnt too healthy but it was good. a death kinda makes you think even if i didnt know this person it still makes me think...you know. ive seen this guy once or twice. its just been a weird day.
school was eh.. if i wasnt runnning a fever it would have been fine. im just really sleepy.

i like having food in my frige when i come to the house. ah good food too. anyways the show was good. vendetta red was goos so was something corporate and steel train. good good times. yeah it was kinda lame b/c even though i was feeling steel train their set time was cut so that was lame b/c there were people who wanted to see them and its only fair right? the quote of the night comes from this girl that was standing next to me. she was wearing a something corporate sweatshirt and when something corporate was playing "konstantine" she asks her friend, "is this juliana theory?" and she was serious. holy shit! shes wearing the damn sweatshirt of the band its expected that you know the band thats playing on stage. i was laughing my head off in my head. serioulsy. overall it was fun good swaying, jumping, pushing, finger pointing, action going down. nothing too serious, it is something corporate and juliana theory afterall. the coolest part is that we were in the back at the beginning, then we moved in the middle by the time vendetta red finished. pretty good pushing action i must say. i was close b.c when andrew stage dove i got to shake his hand. good times. ah yes. i have to see whats up b/c the faint is playing and i want to go and see them in april. i have some money left over from work so im looking forward to using up my hard earned money. too many things to look forward to.
